Lazling (the "Service") treats your personal information as important and complies with the Personal Information Protection Act of the Republic of Korea and other applicable laws. This policy explains what personal information the Service collects, for what purposes it is used, and how it is protected.

※ The Service does not store a separate password; authentication is handled solely through Kakao, Google or Apple sign-in. If you choose "Hide My Email" with Apple sign-in, the Service stores only the anonymous relay address provided by Apple.

※ An AI model (Anthropic) is used for learning content generation, review translation grading, diary feedback and "Make a sentence" feedback. In this process the text you enter (translations, sentences you write, diary entries) is processed; account identifiers and other identifying information are not sent with it.

※ When you tap the pronunciation button (🔊), the sentence or word is sent to Google for speech synthesis. The same applies to sentences in diary feedback that you listen to; account identifiers are not sent with them.

6. Overseas transfer of personal information

The Service transfers personal information overseas in order to carry out the entrusted work listed in Section 5. In accordance with Article 28-8 of the Personal Information Protection Act, we disclose the following.

7. Your rights and how to exercise them

You may at any time request access to, correction of, deletion of, or suspension of processing of your personal information. You can sign out and reset learning data from the settings screen, and you can permanently delete your account and all learning data yourself under [My page] > [Delete account]. For any other request, contact us at the address below and we will handle it without delay.

8. Destruction of personal information

Personal information is destroyed without delay once the retention period has passed or the purpose of processing has been achieved. Electronic files are deleted in a manner that makes recovery or reconstruction impossible.
